New kid on the block

Hi everyone! (crossing my fingers that someone's reading this) 

So, what should one say on her 1st blog post? Hmm.. Let me start with an introduction. 

I'm Marie Raynel Joy Junio Fernandez, I know I know, name's quite long thank God for nicknames!  mine's Mariel :) Hi, nice to meet you! Thanks for still reading, hope you'll be patient enough to finish this post. No worries, next posts wouldn't be as dull as this. Ugh, I seriously suck at intros. 

Anyways, I was a college instructor at a university in our province, before I decided to become independent, work far away from home and study again. I work for Charlton Media Group, it's a publishing company that caters to magazines on business, power, energy & banking across Asia and I'm also a Styling and Communication student in School of Fashion and the Arts.  Very Isla Fisher-like of Confessions of a Shopaholic right? business+fashion :) 

I'm but a simple girl who wishes to succeed in the fashion industry through writing and styling, I know i got a long way to go but I'm very passionate about it. RE: my attempt on blogging. As they say practice makes perfect, so here I shall mold myself to be a writer, photographer, stylist, social media butterfly and just about anything that I want to achieve.  So, let's see what happens next!
