the camera challenge: 2 | the importance of post-photography work in fashion photography

I'm not a fan of Adobe, Corel, and all those other photo editing applications. The only editing app I use is Picasa or Instagram's instant make-over tones. I did not know it was a must for photography, but then I learned there was a need to learn the basic tricks. Here's another activity for my Photography class.

Activity 2 is all about post processing, the main objective is to present a final image/photo with black and white photo background and skin-tone (including hair) by using the PEN TOOL, leaving the clothes and accessories the only things with color. This gave me a bit of a difficult time, without the use of a mouse. good thing Jordan cooperated well. :)

For those who are not so good in Adobe Photoshop, like me. Here's a copy of the cheat-sheet I used. Hope it will be of help, should you wish to try this kind of editing! Here I used, Adobe Photoshop, CS5. Happy editing!
